I guess this is one of the moments that is really worth it to take the European Champions to cover, since the spread is rather logical (small i have to say) and moreover they have to prove something after two consecutive losses (both rather humiliating) thus motivation is there for sure.
I have stated in the beginning of the season my view of Efes, i will quote that they are the team with the most practical additions in the summer transfers and that certainly time is on their side. The last came really true last weeks, they have improved radically their game, Ataman is using his roster more wisely (indicatively his bets role player Kakiouzis is gaining time in the court and this pays off) and defense has started to shape up letting opponents die before scoring. One of my underdogs for the F4 in Berlin, but in no case at the same level with the first 4-5 teams yet in the league.
Among the latter, CSKA is possibly the readiest team to perform at a high level, they began Euroleague emphatically but a sudden 'burst' -which for those who can tell is within Messina's targets - created upsets for punters and a reluctance to bookies. I am not willing to let this handi go, i don't think we are about to see similar small spreads with the Russians involved against a non-elite team and since full roster is available i am willing to use some good units for an easy win.
Second choice here the under, i expect a low scoring affair with CSKA performing a real strong defending night which will lead them to a double digit win in my view. High stakes for the spread and medium for the second option. GL!
