Mats Waltin is the new coach of Slovenian team and for that reason it is hard to play this pick with high stakes. Most of Slovenian players come from club Jesenice which are in a bad shape at the moment. They will miss Anze Kopitar (LA Kings) Marcel Rodman (Vienna Capitals), Uros Vidmar (HK Jesenice), Ivo Jan (Graz and Ambri Piotta now), Edo Terglav (Briancon), Andrej Hocevar (HK Jesenice's 2nd goalie), Rok Pajic (Vrchlabi), Tomaz Vnuk (ZM Olimpija) and Mitja Sivic. Only 3 players are from ZM Olimpija in this squad and I believe that Jesenice's players are not able to beat Denmark today. Although this tournament is very important for all players, because both Jesenice and Olimpija are now in EBEL playoff and must be in top form until 14.02.2008.
I won't write much because this is the first game with Mats Waltin and players have some problems, still I believe Denmark is too strong at this moment and will win in regullar time.
