Carlisle did the job on Saturday, controllingly winning by 2:0 against Brighton - their 14th homewin in 16 games and their 4th straight win to nil. Doncaster won too, to stay 2nd, so Carlisle remain in a chasing position. It's very hard to see them stopped by a Luton side looking more and more hopeless - only a major underestimation can deny them another win, I feel, but they are a team showing a lot of character and mental strenght so I doubt it will happen. Luton are last in the away table (1-4-12 11:29) and last in the formtable (0-2-8 6:20) and their chances of survival are only theoretical. They've scored a single goal in their last 5 and were chanceless at Southend on Saturday, so they really don't look like they have what it takes to go to Carlisle and get a result.
