Early odds on the market at on line bookies made me pretty surprise. I really don't know what bookies think to put Interblock in this cup finals as pretty strong favorite. Ok there might be some speculations that the only club in 1st league from capitol must win something this season, but I have huge doubts that actually will happen. I've never liked when clubs are calculating with some less important matches to save some strength for upcoming fixtures and that's the first reason why I like Maribor here. Interblock only drew against rock bottom Livar at Saturday, indeed managed to come from 2:0 back with late equalizer but it was obvious where their minds were. Maribor played a great opener at their renewed stadium in front of full audience and didn't calculated a bit and deservely won.
The 2nd reason is that this game will be played in Celje where is expected a big number of fans from Maribor (by some reports close to 5.000) in any case much more then from Ljubljana. Actually Interblock as a new club doesn't have any tradition and fans, only a lot of capital by single owner. I dare to say all other so called »neutral« spectators will be on Maribor's side. So you can imagine Maribor will feel like playing at home.
The 3rd reason is that I believe in fair refereeing as Maribor had a lot of complains through out the season about refs and the way they were delegated for their matches. I don't think referee organization will dare to influence here on final outcome.
Since no asians currently avaliable I take Maribor DNB (MB to win 6U + insurance 3U on draw) to win 10U.
